Alysia lives in Los Angeles, California.  She was born in Ruston, Louisiana and began reading and writing at a very early age.  As a child, the Dr. Seuss Classics were her favorite books.  Prior to retirement, she worked as a Technical Writer, Editor, and Documentation Specialist in the Aerospace Industry for over 30 years. She has chronicled her treasured childhood memories of the times shared with her grandmother in a powerful poetry memoir, Grandma's House on Memory Lane.  She has also taken lyrics from the poem to produce and record a great song, Grandma's House, featuring Felicia Bossier.  Today, the love and joy of those times long past, echo in the sparkling eyes and sweet laughter of her own grandchildren as they build new memories that will last a lifetime.  She hopes to inspire readers to recall and share their memories of the love that can still be found somewhere 'round Grandma's House.
